African Summer from Red Leaf Tea

While this tea is exceptional served hot, it is also great served chilled over ice. Sweet yet tangy, this brew provides a wonderful caffeine-free pick-me-up!

This is a very beautiful tisane — the long spears of lemongrass tossed with the petals of safflower, hibiscus and marigold make this tea as appealing to the eye as it is to the palate!

It’s floral, fruity, citrusy, and a little minty. It’s masculine AND feminine all at the same time . Thumbs up for creativity!

Assam Jungle Cabernet from Red Leaf Tea

As it is that time of year… I would recommend this tea as a gift for the wine collector on your list. It may not be a bottle of CabernetSauvignon, but perhaps it is something that they would appreciate, and would certainly be much easier on the pocketbook than a Grace Family Cabernet Sauvignon 2007 from Dean & Deluca.

Black Night from Red Leaf Tea

The aroma of the dried leaves as well as the flavor of this tea is pure, velvety black tea. It is such a decadent bliss to have the deepest of black tea leaves in your cup to savor.

Blue Moon from Red Leaf Tea

The scent of the dry tea is vaguely sweet, with a hint of berry (although there are no berries, berry flavor, or even berry leaves in the tea blend itself). Once brewed, the sweet floral scent becomes more apparent, accompanied by the scent of black tea leaves – earthy and robust.

Champagne Infused Tea from Red Leaf Tea

The flavor of this tea is so unique and complex, yet so very delicate. The raspberry is the most prominent flavor, but I can also detect notes from the champagne as well as the white tea.

All of the flavors in this tea are very delicate. The fragrance of the leaves – both dried and wet – is intoxicating, with floral overtones to a unique muscatel flavored background.

Earl Grey from Red Leaf Tea

The Tea Guru

The cornflower petals do provide a beautiful blue aesthetic touch to the appearance of the leaves, and the fragrance of the leaves both before and after brewing is delicious, with strong bergamot tones. This is a perfectly well-rounded Earl Grey, great for anytime of day.

These teardrop shaped calabashes brew a very light, clear, golden liquid that is very rich tasting with a very pleasant mouthfeel.

Golden Star from Red Leaf Tea

This tea has a very satisfying mouthfeel and a delicate sweetness, and does not seem to get bitter, no matter how long I brew it! I left it brewing for about 8 minutes during the first infusion, and the tea did not reveal even the slightest hint of bitterness… in fact, the longer it brews, the smoother, sweeter, and richer the flavor becomes!

This is a wonderful green tea for everyday drinking, any time of day or night. If you don’t like grassy, crisp green teas then this is a great tea for you.

Herbal Jahva from Red Leaf Tea

The only thing I did not like about this blend was the aftertaste, which was a little too bitter for me, but might be more appreciated by coffee drinkers. Of all the coffee-flavored/coffee alternative teas I’ve tasted, this one is the one that has tasted the most like coffee.

The rose petals, rosemary, sage, and lemon essence, together with the fresh green tea create a sensational aroma that could just as easily be used as a room freshener as a tea.

Pink Sonoma from Red Leaf Tea

Best served hot with no added sweetener or cream, as these would easily overwhelm this blend. If you know you love floral and feminine teas, this is a fantastic and uniquely blended tea.

The scent of this is stunning! Very floral with a hint of sweetness – almost a fruit. It’s a true white tea in color and taste but the floral tones are perfect.

Red Sunset from Red Leaf Tea

The Tea Guru
The Tea Guru

The black tea base is strong and inviting, and the entire blend is very rich in flavor. I think this tea would lose a lot of it’s subtle charm if it were served iced, so I’m going to stick to drinking it as a hot tea. A beautiful symphony of flavor!
