This tea smells really floral and earthy, and brews up quite red. The longer you let it steep the deeper the flavor but it does also carry a slight tartness.

Nothing was too overpowering and it was enjoyable and didn’t make me do a funny face while drinking.

The flavor, as you can imagine, is very intense. It has predominantly mint overtones that leaves a “zing” in your mouth for quite a while after!

This is truly a delicious tisane. While the peppermint in this blend is prominent, it is not overwhelmingly so. In fact, I would say that this herbal tisane is a perfect balance of flavors.

Okay, I’ll admit it, I’m impressed. Everything about this tea delights me. It tastes like a very high quality jasmine pearl tea blended with roses, to be blunt.

It is always a delight to try a new jasmine tea, even more so when the company pairs jasmine with something that complements it well. Chai, Baby! tea company paired Jasmine and Rose together in a wonderful green tea blend.

I loved this tea right from the first sip! It has become one of my favourite chai’s. While not an overly strong chai tea it is also not too mellow. It is a very smooth drink and is great if you need a bit of a perk-up in the morning or afternoon; very refreshing and invigorating! If you love Chai, I highly recommend giving this one a try! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The aroma is nice and soothing. Sometimes Chai’s are too sweet, but this one is just right, even a bit earthy.

The spices – ginger, cardamom and coriander – are not so much “spicy” as warming and lightly flavorful. A lovely blend for any time of day! The rose petals lend it an aesthetic touch as well as a hint of floral notes to the tea.

The taste is almost haunting with it’s more subtle flavor nuances and will linger on your palate begging for you to take another drink!

Lemon myrtle tastes like the zest of a lemon – the yellow part of the lemon peel – more than it does lemon pulp. It’s a tangy and refreshing flavor, and makes an especially good iced tea.

"Dear Tea Guru, Hi, my name is Travis and I do some of the promotions for Tipu’s Chai. To answer your question, yes, we do use the same spices in our instant chai tea as we do in our slow brewed chai. The reason for this is the very same one that you mentioned. When you discover the perfect chai flavor, why change it? Thanks for your..."

"Hector: I agree, you do NOT need to strain their instant chai, however this is a review of their SLOW BREW chai, which does require straining as the spices are not as refined in the slow brew mix

"Tea Guru, Straining Tipu’s isn’t necessarily necessary. I leave the instant mix in and just don’t drink the settled stuff on the bottom (or sometimes I do depending on the “kick” I’m seeking). Either way, it’s a great cup of chai!"

"Dear Tea Guru, I very much appreciate your comments and am very happy you like our slow brew chai mix. I just wanted to make sure that its clear that the Assam tea is organic, but the spices are not certified organic. They are fresh and non radiated however. I hope that you continue to enjoy a good cuppa chai! regards, Bipin Patel,..."
