China Green Tips from TAZO Tea
mary
This green tea is very light and refreshing in both scent and taste. I think this is the perfect “introductory” tea for anyone just starting to drink green tea because of its light flavour.

The aroma of the brewed tea is just as rejuvenating and invigorating as the taste is. It’s just so bold and flavorful! An all around fantastic tea, for any time of day, with or without sweetener, and perfect to take with you to work or on-the-go.

This black tea brews up much nicer than the paper packets. The tea flavor is richer as are the spices. It’s not an overly peppery Chai – but it is strong with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger.

Again, another green tea blend has pleasantly surprised me, and I’m hooked! This lovely green tea has an undertone of the earthy flavor of green tea, but it also had a middle flavor of citrus and a fantastic final flavor of ginger. It is not a biting ginger flavor, but a gentle ginger, which makes this tea very soothing.

There is a pleasant taste of ginger that greets the palate. It is warm, but not extraordinarily spicy. I’d like to call it a soft, warm spice – just warm enough to perk up the taste buds, but not too spicy. Perhaps it is the vegetative sweetness of the green tea that softens the spice just a bit.

Tazo Joy is a delicate yet full cup, created with some of the finest varietal teas available. Rare Darjeelings and Formosa Oolongs are paired with light-bodied, fragrant Nuwara Eliya teas from Ceylon. Yunnan teas from the high plateaus of Southern China and Southern India Nilgiris add texture and complexity.

Overall, I liked this concentrated tea blend. I think it is a unique tea, and I’ve not tasted any other tea that even resembles it, and for that it’s definitely worth a try! The flavor is a bit soft for me, but still a tasty treat!

One of Tazo’s most popular flavors, Passion Herbal Infusion is a truly unique blend of citrus and tropical fruits, herbs and botanicals. This tea brews up to a very intense, deep red color, and the fragrance of the brewed tea is very alluring: hints of orange, lemon and cinnamon, with sweet tropical notes.

The apricot aroma is so vibrant and even juicy! Now, imagine that delicious apricot mingling with a delicate waft of vanilla — yes, it really does smell that yummy.

"Dear Tea Guru, Hi, my name is Travis and I do some of the promotions for Tipu’s Chai. To answer your question, yes, we do use the same spices in our instant chai tea as we do in our slow brewed chai. The reason for this is the very same one that you mentioned. When you discover the perfect chai flavor, why change it? Thanks for your..."

"Hector: I agree, you do NOT need to strain their instant chai, however this is a review of their SLOW BREW chai, which does require straining as the spices are not as refined in the slow brew mix

"Tea Guru, Straining Tipu’s isn’t necessarily necessary. I leave the instant mix in and just don’t drink the settled stuff on the bottom (or sometimes I do depending on the “kick” I’m seeking). Either way, it’s a great cup of chai!"

"Dear Tea Guru, I very much appreciate your comments and am very happy you like our slow brew chai mix. I just wanted to make sure that its clear that the Assam tea is organic, but the spices are not certified organic. They are fresh and non radiated however. I hope that you continue to enjoy a good cuppa chai! regards, Bipin Patel,..."
