This tea makes me feel happy. My goodness, what a great tea for celebrations, tea parties, or any time you just want an aroma and taste that will give you a bit of a lift. Light and fresh, and joyful, is how I’d describe the taste of this. You can almost, but not quite, feel champagne bubbles fizzing.
The white tea is mild, good as a base for the flavors, which are just wonderful. If you have an afternoon “coffee break” during a tough day at work, and want to turn it into a mini-celebration – “Ha! I am taking 15 minutes to enjoy myself and there’s nothing anyone can do about it!” – this is the tea to have on hand.
Compass Teas says about this tea:
Enjoy this tea any time because there is always a reason to celebrate! You’ll love this Raspberry Champagne flavored White tea both hot and iced.
Ingredients: White tea-Antioxidant rich, helps keep body hydrated, may help reduce your daily calorie intake which can lead to weight loss; Safflowers, Champagne and Raspberry Flavors
I personally feel it doesn’t need any sugar whatsoever, especially when hot; if you ice it, you’ll probably want to add just a teeny bit of sugar to keep the flavors strong, and you could add a small amount of lime or mint to it to complement the flavors. The sourness of lemon, or too much lime, would not complement the champagne flavor.
