This whole leaf tea offers tantalizing sweet and tart flavors. Ingredients include Green Rooibos, apples, pomegranate bits, cherry bits, lemongrass, cardamom, red rose petals and pomegranate flowers.
Teavana always seems to use a great blend of fruit and flowers in their teas. I was very please upon brewing to find that the pomegranate flavor is subtle and sweet against the tart refreshing lemon. If you find that the lemon is just too tart add the tiniest bit of sweetener, not much is needed. The cherries and the apple add to the tartness as well, but it is not overwhelming.
Teavana describes this tea as:
A refreshing green Rooibos tea with the uplifting taste of lemongrass, tart apples, succulent cherry bits, green cardamom and pomegranate pieces.
Health Benefits of Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos Tea
Rooibos may help with digestion, allergies, and aging (reduces fine lines and wrinkles). It is also high in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. This tea has chopped and fine leaves with chunks of fruit and flowers that is appealing to the eye. Upon opening your tea tin you will smell the lovely lemon essence that is this tea. It is a light tea, and will mix well with almost any other blend.
