When I first opened the package of this tea, I was blown away by the aroma. The scent of cherries, berries, apples and citrus are truly a delight; reminding me of a fruit salad that has been assembled with only the ripest, freshest, most delicious fruit. In a word, it is ambrosial.
After it’s brewed, the fragrance of the tea softens a bit, but, it still smells amazing. Even better, it tastes amazing as well. This tea is appropriately named, because it is like a Fruit Medley every time I take a sip.
Cranberry — pleasingly tangy — is the most prominent flavor of this cornucopia of fruit, and it is joined with the flavors of apple, cherry, strawberry and orange, with just a squeeze of lemon. The overall flavor is on the tart side, as you might imagine, and the hibiscus adds to that tartness.
However, the undertones of the sweet flavors of these fruits provide a very intriguing complexity of sweet and sour that I find enchanting.
Our Home Tea describes this tea as
Prepare for a party in your cup with this delicious fruit sangria blend that brews up a mouthwatering cup of herbal tea. Entirely caffeine free, it holds a special appeal for kids and sweet-toothed adults. Contains no sweetener. The flavor is all natural, emanating from a mix of cranberry, hibiscus flowers, apples, orange peel, strawberry, cherry, lemongrass and sunflower petals. Highly addictive; Please proceed with caution!
This tea is very good served hot, but I think it is even better as an iced tea, the bright fruit flavors are truly refreshing when they are chilled, and tastes a bit like fruit punch, but without all that added sugar. I did add some sweetener to this tea, because I found it to be a little more tart than sweet, and I wanted to soften the sharpness of the tart just a little bit. Even with this addition, it amounts to far less sugar than those fruit drinks in a box.
I would recommend this tea to anyone looking for a deliciously fragrant, flavorful fruit tea. I think it would be an excellent choice to serve at family holiday gatherings, either hot or iced. And because of the pretty pink color of the tea, it would also make a very nice tea to serve at a child’s tea party.

"When I was a kid, in the middle of winter, my friend Penny and I eachbought a quart of ice cream, skated to the island in the middle of our lake and ate them. Soooo good and soooo naughty. It keeps us young to be naughty sometimes. I would just go for it an enjoy!"

"Well, as someone who has tasted a lot of chai tea, I can attest that this really is not very similar in taste to Chai. Chai tends to focus on the spices, whereas this tea’s focus is on the orange, with the spices being very gentle and more of an accent to the orange."

"How fun! I love drinking tea so I love that you have a whole blog related to reviewing them. One brand that I really love that I don’t see on your list is the Portsmouth Tea Company. When I lived in Boston I used to buy lots of their teas and they were oh so unique. They had some really great fruity and floral blends. It’s interesting that..."

"Haha!! My co-worker told me that she purchased this tea after having purchased the Matcha Latte at Seattle’s Best, and her and another co-worker purchased this because they believed it was what was served there. She stated to me today that “it didn’t seem the same exactly…it felt like their was something..."

"I’m not absolutely certain, but I believe that this is the concentrate that Seattle’s Best coffee shops use to make their matcha latte. The lattes I’ve enjoyed there were sweet with a definite melon flavor… and I have noticed that they sell other Tazo teas there. If it IS the concentrate that they use… I am..."

"Steph: Thank you for your information about the naranquilla. I didn’t find the flavor to be very tart at all – which is what I would have expected from the combination of lime and rhubarb. Perhaps the maraschino sweetened it up a bit and made it much more peach-like. It reminded me a bit of candied apricots or peaches."
