Tangerine Ginger from Octavia Tea

Octavia tangerine gingerNow this is a unique tea! It is a mix of Green and Oolong and I love it!

Aside from these teas being so healthy for you, Octavia has blended them so well, that neither overpowers the other!

It’s flavored “tangerine” which to me just tastes citrus-y, but nice. It too does not overpower the flavors of the tea itself.

Unlike the White Ginger Peach, which I felt had the perfect amount of ginger, I can’t even taste any ginger in this tea, and if I was to complain, that would be my only criticism.

However, I love this tea, and drink it often. Being with the Oolong in it, I’ve taken the chance and brewed it more than once, and have been very happy to find that it re-brews wonderfully.

Be very careful though, not to get your water too hot when brewing this tea. If it’s at a full boil you will cook the leaves and loose a lot of the lovely flavor. It also does not brew well if you have overheated the leaves.

Here is how Octavia describes this tea:

The fragrance of sweet tangerine rests on a layer of spicy ginger in this antioxidant-rich infusion. Known for its metabolism-boosting properties, the exquisite tea used in this blend is a balance of both Green and Oolong.

I am very impressed with all the teas I’ve tasted from Octavia. I plan on trying more of their tea in the future. And this lovely tea blend will always be one of my favorites!
