Heart of Love from Grand Tea

Heart of LoveWOW beautiful tea experience truly! I brewed this at work and everyone crowded around to see this tiny ball of tea slowly unfurl. It was such a site to see it was alive, and it was just tea! It was hilarious that we were all so entertained by this drink I was making! This is my first experience with a blooming tea and I was not disappointed!

Grand Tea describes this tea as:

Blooming tea is a small bundle of dry tea leaves and flowers hand-embroidered together with cotton thread into a ball. When steeped, the ball opens up and transforms into a bouquet of flower. Heart of Love blooming teas are made of spring harvest tea leafs, the taste is gentle and delicious.

The brewed tea smells like very strong jasmine. I was hoping that the taste would be as nice as the smell. The flavor is rich without being overpowering or “too much”.  My co-workers insisted that I could not waste the flower with just one brew so I did another, even though it was not as fun to watch it was still just as pleasant.

This tea absolutely does not need anything added, not sweetener, nothing, it is simple and perfect all on its own. The jasmine flavor is hinted just the right amount of strength. This tea entertains and satisfies!
