Peach Yellow Tea from KTeas

  • Type Of leaves: Yellow Tea
  • Name Of Tea: Peach Yellow Tea
  • Available From: KTeas

Peach Yellow Tea from KTeasMmm…golden yellow peaches amongst yellow tea leaves.  This fabulous tea reminds me of summer, and makes me eager for the cold winter months to be over with.  I admit, I can’t really tell that the yellow tea here is any different than a medium-oxidized Oolong tea.  It’s reminiscent of either an Oolong or a Golden Monkey.  At any rate it pairs smoothly and perfectly with the peach flavoring in this tea.

KTeas describes this tea as:

Delightful hot or iced. Imagine the hot summer sun on juicy peaches ripe and ready to burst blended with this delicate rare yellow tea from the Wuyi Mountains in Northern Fujian Province, China. Yellow tea is sometimes known as green tea with a less intense flavor, subtler and sweeter, for yellow tea is processed differently than green tea. It has about the same antioxidant content as green tea. Ingredients: Yellow tea , from China, sunflower blossoms, and natural flavor.

I drank this tea with a bit of sweetener, although it is quite sweet on it’s own!  The fruity peach flavor would not go well with milk.  I enjoyed this one hot since it’s a freezing December day, however I can tell that this particular tea would make an exceptional iced tea in the summertime also.
