Peppermint Joy from Zhena’s Gypsy Tea

Peppermint Joy from Zhena's Gypsy TeaIt’s been a while since the last time I purchased a tea from Zhena, but for a bagged tea, I like many of their offerings.

So I figured, ’tis the season for seasonal teas!  The aroma of this tea is very festive, just like a holiday drink – almost like something with rum in it.  Or rum itself?  The taste is just as intriguing… just as rum-like.   It’s very different from anything I have ever tasted.  The coloring is that of a green tea, indeed!

Zhena’s Gypsy Tea describes this tea as:

Holiday Blend – Finest Quality Green Tea Leaves with Peppermint and Spices

A Cup “Yule” Love
Warm up the holidays with a festive steeping cup of cheer. This fanciest one of a kind limited signature blend is a wonderful way to share the hope, spirit and joy of the season. Celebrate friends and loved ones with this finest green tea, artfully adorned with peppermint, cinnamon, cloves and the pleasing hint of vanilla.

Organic and Fair Trade Certified * Certified Organic by Lacon * This tin is 100% Recyclable

I’m very glad I bought this at Wegmans last month because it’s a full tin that should last me well after the holidays.  Since this is a seasonal tea – if you enjoy it – you should pick up either a full tin or more than 1 tin because you won’t see it again until next year!
