Nutcracker Sweet from Tea For All Reasons

Nutcracker Sweet from A Tea For All ReasonsThis is such a classic holiday blend!  A light-bodied Chinese black tea overflows with fruits, spices and nuts to warm and delight you during the cold winter months.

The tea leaves and other ingredients are aesthetically pleasing as well, forming a holiday potpourri in your teacup.  The aroma of the dried leaves is exceptional as well, with sugar and spice and everything nice!

When brewed, the overall flavor is of Orange Spice tea; however, it has so many subtle layers to it that the label of an orange spice tea doesn’t begin to cover everything this tea has to offer.  Along with the citrus flavor of the orange, there is a sweetness provided by the apple pieces, and a slight tartness from the currant.  Add to this the yuletide spices of cinnamon and cloves, and a nutty background of almond slivers, and you have the perfect holiday tea!

Tea For All Reasons describes this tea as:

Another spicy Christmas blend combines China Black tea with apple, orange, currants, cinnamon, almond and cloves for a spectacular taste sensation. A Best Seller!

This tea is best served hot – it just isn’t as good when served chilled.  This one really warms you up on cold days!  It is great when served plain; however, I enjoyed it with my usual sweetener.  I wouldn’t advise milk unless you absolutely must take milk with your tea, as I think it mutes some of the more spectacular undertones of this tea.

Overall, a really well-balanced holiday blend that almost anyone would enjoy!  Perfect for parties or at the office!
