This was one of the first ‘flowering’ or ‘blooming’ teas I tried. And let me tell you – I really LOVED it! It’s more than just a tea…it’s ART. It’s history and culture. It’s beauty. It’s nature. It’s tradition and celebration…all wrapped up into a little ball of heaven!
It was light in color once bloomed and had a delicate and floral, yet slight fruity-taste. The bloom stayed in tact and it was gorgeous! This is wonderful for multiple infusions. I remember getting at least 9 out of it.
Numi describes this tea as:
Dragon Lily bursts open into an arrangement of superb white tea and stunning flowers. When steeped, sprinkles of osmanthus petals surface and an orange lily blossoms, a mesmerizing display. This translucent liquor imparts a velvety sweet apricot flavor.
Again, this is a Gentle, Fun, Relaxing, Comforting Cup! Great for an evening at home or get it out to celebrate!

"Well, as someone who has tasted a lot of chai tea, I can attest that this really is not very similar in taste to Chai. Chai tends to focus on the spices, whereas this tea’s focus is on the orange, with the spices being very gentle and more of an accent to the orange."

"Steph: Thank you for your information about the naranquilla. I didn’t find the flavor to be very tart at all – which is what I would have expected from the combination of lime and rhubarb. Perhaps the maraschino sweetened it up a bit and made it much more peach-like. It reminded me a bit of candied apricots or peaches."
