Pink Lady Apple from The Republic of Tea

pink lady apple green teaI was not a fan of green tea, though it is so healthy for you, until recently when I found several green tea blends that have changed my mind!

Sent to me by my sister who is battling breast cancer, the label has a little circle that says “Sip for the Cure”. Ahhh… now I get the Pink Lady title!

You open this lovely can of circular tea bags and you get a lovely tea smell… a bit woodsy and  a bit like an apple orchard.

It brews up a lovely cup of tea, that needs no sweetening. It has a lovely apple undertone, and a gentle, non-bitter green tea flavor. It’s a perfect cup of tea in the afternoon!

The REPUBLIC of TEA describes this tea as:

Known as the “blushing apple” Pink Lady® apples are intensely sweet and succulent. Sourced especially for the Sip for the Cure™ line Pink Lady’s sweetness is a perfect counterbalance to healthful China green tea.

$1 from the sale of this tin will support Susan G. Komen for the Cure in their fight against breast cancer.

I highly recommend this tea, even for those who don’t normally drink green teas. The donation to fight breast cancer is a lovely little perk – but the cup of tea you brew from these teabags will give you a few moments of peace and serenity!

Pink Ladies are my favorite kind of apple! :)

I’ll have to check this one out. I’ve been looking for a good apple tea, and while I’m not a fan of green tea, my mom keeps saying I should drink it for the health benefits.

This is a tasty one, along the other “Sip for the Cure” flavor, Pomegranate Vanilla Red Tea (for those of you non-caffeine people). And they make the perfect iced tea with just a hint of honey! :q
