The Seer from Eclectic Diana

The Seer Herbal Tisane

The Seer Herbal Tisane

This is a very complex tea that brews with a light yellow color, and soft but spicy floral aromas.

The taste is light and refreshing with undertones of spice. Very calming and warming!

Eclectic Diana describes this tea as:

This tea is made to (perhaps) stretch your psychic awareness or insight, perceptiveness…
A blend of cinnamon, clove, mugwort, bay leaf,  lemongrass & rose petals.

As it steeps, breath in the steam (carefully!) and visualize the aroma opening your “seer” ability.

The addition of Mugwort is the most important ingredient in this type of tea.

In the Middle Ages, mugwort was used as a magical protective herb.   Mugwort was used to repel insects, especially moths, from gardens. Mugwort has also been used from ancient times as a remedy against fatigue and to protect travelers against evil spirits and wild animals.   Mugwort is one of the nine herbs invoked in the pagan Anglo-Saxon Nine Herbs Charm, recorded in the 10th century.

Much used in alternative medicine, mugwort is said to be useful in inducing lucid dreaming and astral travel. Consumption of the plant, or a tincture thereof, prior to sleeping is said to increase the intensity of dreams, the level of control, and to aid in the recall of dreams upon waking. One common method of ingestion is to smoke the plant. Colloquially, this practice is known as “Having a tasp before having a nap.”

I myself really enjoyed this tea and always feel very light and refreshed after drinking it!  One of the BEST things about Eclectic Diana’s tea is the exquisite packaging!! Having mentioned before that I appreciate a well-packaged tea, this tea arrives in a gorgous muslin drawstring bag with a very thick cord, and is embroidered on one side.  The fragrant Seer tea is packaged within this muslin  bag, which can then be reused (for many different things!) when you are finished with all of the tea.

Thank you Steph, for including me in this great blog! I look forward to seeing more items related to tea here on the blog.
I’m so glad to hear you are pleased with my SEER blend.
I have other Herbal Tisanes that have are for their metaphysical properties; I’ve been debating whether to list them.
    What do you think?
