Queens Morning

The description of this bergamot blend is very accurate. However, if you don’t like the flavor of bergamot and you know it, I would choose something different because there is no getting around it.

Rua Tea describes this tea as:

Flavored with the same oil of bergamot as our classic Earl Grey but with a hint of vanilla and cream. A smooth and aromatic blend with a wonderful creamy-fruity flavor that appeals to a wide range of tastes. Even if you are not an Earl Grey fan, we recommend you try this tea.

All of our teas come beautifully packaged in our artisan designed tea tin with clear lid. Designed to keep tea fresh and dry. Each tea tin yields approx. 10-12 cups of tea, depending on the tea. And can be used for multiple infusions.

My first impression was that it is beautiful because I saw it through the tin’s clear top. Purple is the color of royalty so the purple flower petals which are mixed in with the black tea base go so well with the name that was chosen for it. Purple and black happen to be my favorite colors too.

The smell of this tea is very intense! I’ve had a few Earl Greys that tasted very overwhelming, so, upon unleashing my nose on this one I became a little worried that the flavor would be too much for me. That is not the case. I found the flavor to be well balanced, perhaps due to the addition of the vanilla and cream or the right ratio of bergamot flavoring to tea leaves.

Fit for a queen!

I absolutely love this tea, I’m so glad you gave me a little to try. This is a delightful Cream Earl Grey, with a lot of emphasis on the “cream” part! Great tea blend :D
