Well I’ve never tasted lemon soufflé, so I can’t say if it actually tastes like a lemon soufflé, however this surprisingly delicious rooibos blend does have a warm, buttery lemon flavor, like iced lemon cookies or warm lemon cake.
I’m normally not a fan of most red rooibos blends, but I feel especially appreciative of this particular blend, as the rooibos really compliments the other flavors in this blend. So it’s not only one of the few red rooibos blends I can stand, it’s one that I actually really enjoy!
Tea For All Reasons describes this tea as:
A lovely, light Rooibos with creamy notes, coupled with a blend of Honeybush as well. It really does taste like Lemon Souffle! A wonderful beverage to soothe a sore throat. Yummy iced as well.
Served hot with honey or sweetener, this is one of the most soothing and soul-warming teas I’ve tasted. Even on the bleakest of days, this tea can bring peace to your soul. The bright yellow and blue calendula and cornflower petals lend a festive touch to the appearance of this blend, and since this is an herbal blend with no tea leaves in it, it is also caffeine-free…which makes this tisane an excellent bedtime tea.

Can’t say I’m a fan of Lemon Souffle either, but I am going to have to try this tea. Sounds like the perfect treat at the end of a hard day. Thanks.
