Lemon Twist from Teavana

  • Type Of leaves: Rooibos
  • Name Of Tea: Lemon Twist
  • Available From: Teavana

Lemon TwistDo you love lemon? I sure do, and I love Rooibos too! So this tea is perfect for me in so many ways! It is a smooth and lightly citrus blend of red Rooibos and lemongrass, along with marigold petals.

It has a wonderful aroma in dry form with the thin red Rooibos leaves and dried lemon pieces. The aroma sets a precedent for how the tea will taste after brewing.

Teavana describes this tea as:

Rich and creamy Rooibos with lemongrass and marigold petals.

Health Benefits of Lemon Twist Rooibos Tea
High antioxidant content and rich in vitamins and minerals. Caffeine free, may aid in relieving allergies, and great for hair, teeth, skin, and bones.

It is almost impossible to go wrong with a Rooibos. I have only had good experiences with this type of leaf. The longer you brew this the stronger the taste. MMM MMM MMM lemony goodness! It reminds me a lot of lemon meringue pie.

Rooibos teas have lots of antioxidants and vitamins. They also help relieve allergies, improve iron absorption and aid in digestion. This tea has enough of its own natural sweetness that no other sweetener is required. I also have a slight cold right now and this is very soothing.  My throat thanks Teavana!

“Delicious hot or iced, this tea has a lemon finish that will leave you craving more!”

This one is pretty much a staple in most tea stores nowadays I think, LOL! I know that Rua Tea, Tea For All Reasons and California Tea House all have a blend made solely of red rooibos, lemongrass, cream flavor (usually vanilla), and Calendula (marigold) petals. California Tea House actually calls their blend Lemon Meringue Pie, which you likened the blend to. This blend is becoming very common I think!
