Irish Cream from A Tea For All Reasons

This Irish Cream flavored black tea brings to mind the song “Afternoon Delight” by The Starland Vocal Band.  Share in the joy of this gorgeous deep, dark, dreamy brew and the nostalgia of that fun-to-sing-along-with 70s hit:

Tea For All Reasons describes this tea as:

Creamy smooth character evokes thoughts of the Emerald Isle. Delicious with toast for breakfast or with shortbread cookies in the afternoon. A Best Seller.

Irish Creme Black Tea

Irish Cream Black Tea

This is a an absolutely delicious black tea, a high quality base with the mellow creamy taste of Irish Cream (this tea is non-alcoholic) that truly pleases the palate.  I caution against overbrewing this one, it’s brews up fast and can become bitter if over-brewed.  This is a very relaxing tea, the aroma of a good strong black tea and Irish Cream really set the mood for drinking this “afternoon delight”.

You know, I for some reason had “Afternoon Delight” stuck in my head at the office a few days ago… and now it’s back. :p

The tea sounds awesome, though – probably a better idea to drink this than to down a mug of actual irish cream in the middle of the afternoon. Heh.

Sounds delish! This seems like the perfect tea to be sipping while painting… or to relax with after the painting!
