French Caramel Creme Bruleé from Time For Tea

French Caramel Creme Brulee from Time for TeaTime for Tea is a local Tea Shop here in the central Missouri area where I live, so I was surprised that I’d never heard of it until recently, when I found some coupons for Time for Tea online.

While I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting this tea shop yet, my best friend went looking there recently after I gave her one of the coupons, and came back raving about how wonderful it is.  So once the Tea Guru gets some “spend me” money, she’s going to go buy an insane amount of tea from this shop!  In the meantime, my friend brought me back a lovely sample of this French Caramel Creme Bruleé from Time For Tea.

This tea made a huge impression on me, from the moment I first smelled it, I fell in love.  The scent of the dried leaves is ambrosial – you will think you’ve died and went to caramel heaven!  The strong quality black tea has a fragrance that lingers with the strong caramel and creme bruleé scents.

When I first brewed this tea, I tried it with added sweetener (Turbinado sugar) and no milk/milk substitute, although you can safely take this tea the way you prefer your teas – with or without sugar and milk.  Honestly this one of the best flavored teas I’ve tasted – the quality of the flavorings as well as the tea shines through the finished brew.

Time for Tea describes this tea as:

Our most popular (blend)

I can certainly understand why this is their most popular blend -  WOW!!  This is a decadent dessert treat for anytime of day.  The caramel flavor and fragrance is SO strong and realistic, and there is a distinct Creme Brulee flavor as well, making this creamy, sweet and delicious. I can’t imagine anyone NOT liking this tea – and I’m certainly looking forward to my first visit to Time for Tea!

My friends and I visit Time for Tea at least once a week. They have a huge selection of tea from around the world. They also have a wonderful selection of tea pots and accessories. The upstairs and downstairs are full of the eclectic items both new and old. On a daily basis lunch is served they have wonderful sandwiches, soups, salads, and heavenly desserts. The shop is a wonderful place for quiet getaway with friends or for parties.
