Butterscotch Caramel Toffee from Culinary Teas

Butterscotch Caramel Toffee from Culinary TeasButterscotch Caramel Toffee black tea.  Does this even NEED a review?  I mean, doesn’t “Butterscotch Caramel Toffee” just sort of sell itself?!  This tea tastes exactly what it says it tastes like, and is completely delicious.  It’s hard to get much more descriptive than that!

The black tea base is a medium-bodied tea that has a honeyed flavor that blends well with the butterscotch, caramel and toffee flavorings, which are rich and very realistic flavors.  This tea also goes very well with sweetener and milk (or milk substitute – Very Vanilla Soy milk makes this tea DIVINE!).  Even though this tea has a creamy flavor of it’s own, that flavor is enhanced by the presence of milk.

Culinary Teas describes this tea as:

Our Butterscotch Caramel Toffee is dessert in a teacup. This black tea has a butterscotch aroma and the flavor is just decadent as the caramel toffee flavor lingers on your taste buds.

The aroma is light, but definitely of caramel and butterscotch.  This does make an excellent dessert tea or a wonderful afternoon tea.  This indulgent tea blend is perfect for those who love sweets and sweet teas!  Even though the flavors are all “light”, when blended together it makes the separate flavors much more balanced and not overwhelming.  This tea does an excellent job of bringing together some of the world’s sweetest flavors without making a syrupy brew.
