Okay, with that being said and out of the way, let me say that most people confuse “honeybush” tea with “rooibos” tea, or think that the terms are interchangeable. This is not true. Honeybush (Cyclopia intermedia) has many similarities to red rooibos (Aspalathus linearis), and grows in the same area as rooibos (South Africa), but Honeybush is slightly sweeter than Rooibos, and was named “Honeybush” because its flowers smell of honey.
This particular Honeybush blend is decadently delicious! If you love chocolate, this is definitely a tea to put on your must-have list. It’s smooth, rich and delicious with heavy sweet chocolate overtones and a touch of caramel in the mix. The honeybush leaves a slightly sweet, slightly tangy aftertaste on the palate while the yogurt makes it creamy and satisfying.

This is a perfect hot tea for the cold days we will be getting soon here where I live in Missouri. I have a huge sweet tooth so this tea is absolutely perfect for me…and goes well with milk (or milk alternative – I prefer Very Vanilla Soy Milk) and a touch of sweetener. Although if you are counting your calories, this is a fantastic dessert tea as they say because it does have a natural sweetness of its own even if you add nothing but hot water!
