This tea tastes and smells just as good as it looks in the photo! With huge chunks of coconut, chocolate and white chocolate chips, this black tea is indulgent and rich, creamy and sweet, just like a delicious chocolate coconut dessert…or a bon bon!
The black tea that forms the base of this tea is a good tea, even though ESP Emporium doesn’t specify what type of black tea they use in this blend; it is dark and rich – almost like coffee – and forms the perfect background for the strong chocolate flavor and coconut nuances.
ESP Emporium describes this tea as:
White beaches, crystal clear water, the rustle of palm leaves, Caribbean music in the background, sun-tanned skin and a happy mood… The pleasure of chocolate and coconuts would bring to perfection the picture of a good life, “le bon gout de Ia vie”. To be brief, Bon Tea.., chocolate and coconut included! Enjoy this tender, creamy creation with, or even without, Caribbean music. It’s worth it!
Ingredients: black tea (65%), chocolate chips (sugar, ground cocoa beans with cocoa butter, powdered cocoa, emulsifying agent: soy lecithin), white chocolate chips (sugar, cocoa butter, milk powder (lactose), dextrose, emulsifying agent: soy lecithin), broken cocoa bits, coconut flakes, flavoring.
Serving Size: 1 level tsp./6oz serving, Brew Temp: 203 to 212 degree F, Brew Time: 4 to 5 Minutes
This tea does take well to a touch of sweetener and/or milk – however you normally take your black tea is a good way to serve this one, since it is so adaptive. I really think this tea is just as good as any candy bar! And it never gets bitter: longer steepings result in a richer flavor. Overall a terrific flavored black tea!
