As a fan of Pu-er teas, I can tell you that this is the most delicate Pu-er I’ve had in a long time. If you normally avoid Pu-er teas because of their strong earthy tones, you may wish to try this particular Pu-er which is light and airy, almost like a light Yunnan.

This Douji has a distinctive earthy flavor, more coppery than vegetal. 2011 Douji pu-erh tea was my drinking tea for today and I could not discern anything but that earthy, slightly coppery taste in the liquor and aroma.
