Chocolate Rocket from David’s Tea

This is delicious hot or iced. I prefer it hot, mostly because I prefer Yerba Maté hot. But, the flavors remain bright and strong as it cools, making this a stunning iced tea. A deliciously different kind of energy drink!

The tea is slightly sweet but definitely not excessively so. I would call this an aperitif tea rather than a dessert tea. It has an amber to reddish brown color when brewed. One may think that the cranberry would be too tart for them but its not, its quite mellow.

The leaves are a treat to look at- Chinese black tea with sugar crystals and gold sugar balls. This tea is extremely festive! It has a spicy warm cinnamon flavor with an orange finish. The smooth, warm taste is perfect for the chilly weather, and the glitter puts a bit of joy into your cup.

I ordered this tea online from David’s since the closest Davids to me is 2000 miles away and I was surprised when I opened the bag and saw little pieces of tea (Guayusa). The consistency reminded me of crushed pepper!

The color almost looks like a black tea with a dark chocolate color. The initial flavor is citrus but the end result is a creamy raspberry aftertaste. It reminds me of a raspberry ice cream.

Tweet I was going to pass this tea up as I am not (*GASP*) a fan of cake! I don’t like anything overly sweet at all. So yes, I was very apprehensive about trying this tea and whether I would even like it! Guess what? I loved it! The look of this tea reminds me [...]

Very nice black/green blend with a subtle jasmine and floral twist. I love the flavor of the tea. Initially it tastes black, then you get the floral infusions and a green twist at the end. It really is like 3 wishes! If you are looking for a strong jasmine, I would recommend blending with a few pearls, but this tea is very tasty!

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
