The black tea is the perfect base for the strong, true lavender flavor and scent which is so comforting and relaxing. The coconut is but a whisper of tropical notes behind the floral lavender, combining to make a soft yet intense tea.

The taste is sweet and just a little tangy. It feels (and tastes) smooth and creamy as it glides over the palate. The lemongrass has a light citrus-y note that tastes a bit more like lime than lemon to me in this cup. It also has a back note that is buttery – a note that melds very well with the slick coconut flavor.

I just finished a cup of Coconut Vanilla tea that I received as a sample. I was a bit skeptical about a coconut flavored tea. But I do love coconut milk in my rice, and this tea tasted like I had put coconut milk in my tea! I was scrumptious!!!!

I happen to like tart and sharp flavors, and I thought pairing cranberry with ginger would be especially zingy! Since oolong tea tends to be a bit mellower than black tea, but far less likely to turn grassy than green tea, I went with oolong for my base. The combination works nicely!

Honestly, the honey is the best part of this tea – I wonder if they use real honey powder as the taste is as close to real honey as it gets! And there is a hint of rum behind the honey flavor but it’s not overpowering – in fact the combination of honey and rum is very comforting and soothing!

So ambrosial and exotic! The flavor is one-of-a-kind, and the fragrance is indulgent and relaxing. I decided to bring out the clove flavor a bit by adding some high-quality organic clove buds to the blend as well. Together this makes a GORGEOUS tea that everyone should try at least once.

The package states the ingredients are: Organic pure Grade Rooibos from South Africa, Natural Flavoring, Almond Pieces and Vanilla. I would definitely agree that this is premium grade Rooibos, and the almond flavoring is very distinct. The vanilla smooths it all out so that there isn’t any bad aftertastes.

They sure are right about one thing, this does mix a lovely earthy and nutty pecan with just a hint of peppermint to making this tea that just about anyone would like. The rooibos matches perfectly with the blend of pecan and peppermint, lending a honey-like sweetness to it and bringing the whole blend together nicely.

I like this much better than I ever expected I would. If I were to change anything about this … I’d change the name. It’s just … a wacky name. But then, I thought that combining pecan and peppermint was pretty wacky too, and that ended up working. So, maybe they should just keep the name the way it is.

The vanilla arrives upon the palate first. It is light and softly sweet. Shortly afterward I can detect the plum flavor, it is a strong, dominant flavor here, but in the context of this cup, it maintains the lightness of the other flavors.

The raspberry flavor is a very true raspberry flavor, so you can taste the delicious raspberries along with the smooth Oolong tea, and the peppermint adds a minty freshness that isn’t at all overpowering…in other words, this has mint IN it, but it’s not a “peppermint tea” in itself so to speak.
