Ginger Orange Peach Oolong by Double Koi Tea

The Oolong is darkly oxidized, and has a warm, mild flavor. In fact the entire blend is very mild in comparison to most ginger peach Oolong teas, the flavorings are very light and blend together beautifully. The aroma is very close to orange juice! This one might be too delicate for an iced tea, but served hot it is very soothing and aromatic.

However, it’s also a very strong, solid fruit tea in that the flavor of the tea, in this case passion fruit, is balanced well with the flavor of the actual tea leaves and it provides a naturally sweet, delicious drink that goes well with or without sugar.

Opening with a slightly smoky aroma and an underlying hint of cedar, this oolong is familiar yet exotic – I’m reminded of an authentic San Franciscan Chinese restaurant on a cold rainy day.

It definitely has a warm golden, nectar-like aroma and flavor with a slight astringency to the aftertaste which makes this one thirst-quenching and palate-cleansing as well. Overall an excellent unflavored black tea!

I love the deep smoky vegetal flavor of {en:Gunpowder_tea|gunpowder green tea}. And this particular gunpowder green tea is absolutely exquisite. A “Pinhead” gunpowder green tea, this tea is of high quality and is rolled into tiny pellets.

This is a tea I would love to have on hand at all times. The nutty aroma of the Pai Mu Tan leaves makes an ambrosial accent to the scent of vanilla, making this a delight for all of the senses. The flavor is very smooth and mellow with lots of creamy vanilla overtones. A beautiful white tea blend!

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
