There is a light sweetness. Some of the Pu-erh teas that I’ve tasted recently have had a caramel-y kind of sweetness, this one – not so much a caramel taste, but more of a light touch of sweetness, as though kissed with a drop of honey. It’s very intriguing.

Mild flavorings in a good quality Ceylon tea makes for a cup that’s robust without being strong, and also makes a good iced tea.

After my first sip, I knew I was going to enjoy it. The strongest flavor is a quality black tea – a Ceylon base, which is one of my favorite black teas. The cherry and almond were very mild – though a bit of milk and sugar brought out the flavors a bit stronger.

Chun Mee, in my opinion, is one of the classic green teas. An “old standard” if you will, a tea that you can always count on.

It is not bitter at all – and yet, not as “smooth” as an India tea. I find its fragrance to be a bit earthy, and the flavor has a bit of nuttiness to it.

This has a fresh taste, and a green and floral aroma, and a taste that’s also floral – almost a hint of jasmine, in fact, even though this is not a jasmine tea. Excellent hot or iced.

I really enjoyed the milky note of this tea, and also enjoyed the surprise popcorn note – I love discovering new tastes in Oolongs! If you are also an Oolong fan, you’ll definitely need to try this one.

The smell has a touch of peaches to it, but there isn’t any fruity flavor to this Oolong. There is a lovely, slight aftertaste of cream – not sweet, like that buttery aftertaste of unsweetened cream.

oh goodness the amazing ingredients that is in this tea! It is light and airy, very subtle flavors. This tea would make an excellent mixer with a plain rooibos blend, or a very strong flavored blend. The possibilities are pretty much endless. This would also make a wonderful iced blend.
