And while this tea is absolutely autumnal and is delicious served hot, I envision this being served at Thanksgiving dinner as an iced tea! The flavor is vibrant and the tea retains the flavor even as it cools so it would make a very charming accompaniment at the holiday table.

This is a VERY good flavored black. There have been people searching for a chocolate flavored black. I suggest giving this one a try – if you don’t mind the hazelnut too!

Together, the taste of chocolate and hazelnut and black tea create a rather delicious combination. The chocolate is creamy and smooth, the hazelnut is nutty and sweet, and the black tea tastes rich and satisfying.

You open this tin and the scent of orange strikes your nose first. From the smell, I would expect this tea to be an orange flavored black tea. But once you’ve brewed one of these high quality tea “sachets” you find a wonderful blend of spices mixed with fruit and black tea.

The cinnamon is the real star of this blend. However, the orange does provide an interesting contrast to the provocative cinnamon, and the cloves accent the spicy profile. In other words, if you’re looking for an orange/clove blend – this isn’t it. This tea is all about the cinnamon!

The flavor is absolutely resplendent, with sumptuously sweet fruity notes with just a hint of nut-like flavor, and a very smooth, almost wine-like undertone. No bitterness and very little astringency to the cup. It is medium-bodied and has a very soft, delicious texture to it.

The complexity of the Darjeeling tea plays very nicely with the tart lemon. The lemon takes center stage in this blend, but the presence of the caramel cuts through the tartness just enough to provide a smooth, slightly sweet finish.

The tea is mild and low in caffeine; the bergamot is nicely balanced. This tea brews up fairly dark for a white tea, a medium amber color darker than most green teas. The aroma is quite nice, stronger in the brewed tea than in the dry leaves.
