This tisane delivers a strong cinnamon ZING! The rooibos base is nutty and sweet. It has a bit of that rooibos aftertaste that I typically find a little off-putting, but I am not minding it too much here, because the cinnamon is so nice.

This tea while delectable as a hot brew gives me the thought that it would be a very mild iced tea as well. Some teas you know would not do well as both hot or cold, this one seems versatile enough!

While Pu-erh generally does not become bitter, I have noticed that if I steep it too long, I end up with an exceptionally earthy brew … but that didn’t happen even though I didn’t keep track of how long I steeped it. Instead, I was treated to a rich, smooth Pu-erh with a sweet caramel-like taste that develops as I continue to sip. Nice!
