Cherry Flavored Black Tea from Indonique
The Tea Guru
The aroma of the tea is strongly cherry-scented, that smells just like ripe cherries. The tea is slightly sweet on its own, so if you sweeten your tea, you might want to use less sweetener than you normally do. If you love cherries, this is the perfect tea for you!

This tea is brisk and full-bodied with a very rich, malty flavor. This makes for a very interesting (and delightful!) contrast with the sweet cherry flavor, which softens the edge of the tea just a touch, but not so much that detracts from the bold flavor of the tea.

This is a strong black tea with a hint of cherry. Add a bit of sugar, and you get more cherry flavor, especially in the aftertaste.

This is my first taste of tea from Indonique and I must say I am impressed and looking forward to more great teas from Indonique.

This is easily one of the best tasting Ginger Peach teas that I’ve sampled, with the high quality of the tea leaves combined with the very tasty, authentic-tasting flavorings. One to enjoy any time of year!

It brewed up a nice golden color and had a faint scent of peach after brewing. I was surprised though when I tasted it. The flavor of the Oolong was the strongest flavor. In fact, I hardly tasted the peach or the ginger until it cooled a bit.

This tea brewed up a dusky brown, like a caramelized honey color. The flavor was neither overwhelming in the peach or the ginger department. I would describe the flavor as slightly sweet and a definite smokey flavor.

The Tea Guru
If you love oranges and peaches, you should try this green tea, which Indonique says is Chinese green tea. There are huge, whole chunks of fruits amongst the leaves, enhancing the flavor, fragrance and appearance.

Even though the flavor of the orange is quite strong, you can also taste the underlying flavors of peach and the warmth of the ginger, providing an interesting contrast on the palate.

The fruit flavors don’t overwhelm the tea, just accent it. This makes a good iced tea!

The tea brewed up a dark red – reminding me of the look of “Yorkshire Red” (if you’re familiar with that). And sure enough, it is a very similar tea blend as “Yorkshire Red” yielding a fantastic black tea – rich but not bitter.

I loved the amount and type of jasmine flavor in this tea and will be ordering a full supply of this green Oolong soon. I must also add that I am thrilled that this is an Organic tea!

This is a gorgeous blend of spices for a chai tea. With the spices and tea so finely ground, the flavor is very strong and does not need much steeping time.

The combination of spices and tea is well balanced, with a robust flavor of the Nilgiri tea providing a perfect base for the warmth of the Marsala spice. And very noteworthy as well is the vanilla, which is sweet and smooth, and is not obscured by the strength of the tea and spices.

When I tried this Vanilla Chai – it was a good, decent chai. Bold but not too bold and not too spicy. The vanilla made it very smooth.

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
