This is a nice blend for a flavored rooibos. It more than just rooibos – which is good in my book – because sometimes I get bored.

The scent of the tea is very powerful, and the fragrance of cinnamon and orange are most predominant. Since it didn’t have a very chai-like impression on me, I drank this without milk, but with some sweetener.

Because of the strong smell, I expected this to be a tea overflowing with cinnamon and spice flavor. Instead, the spices were not too strong and did not overwhelmed the lovely black tea. The addition of a lovely orange rind flavor was a surprise and definite plus.

I think this tea is named well. It is definitely “Americanized.” That is not necessarily a bad thing; it just means that some of the sharp Indian spices have been slightly toned down. I also have some suspicions that that “flavoring” is some kind of sweetener (because you know how us Americans love sweet stuff). I didn’t find the tea overly sweet mind you, it just had a little added sweetness which might have also come from the spices.

This black tea with natural flavors ices nicely, and I sweetened it with bits of crystalized ginger for an even stronger flavor. Definitely for ginger lovers!

This is a very tropical flavored green tea, with highlights of strawberry and a hint of pineapple. I really appreciated the smooth quality of the tea – there was absolutely no bitterness or sharp aftertaste. When you smell it fresh in the tin, it has a very very strong tropical scent, which is somewhat more subtle upon brewing, but matches the teas in the blend perfectly! This is a fantastic tea for any time of day, and would also make a fantastic tropical iced tea!

I highly recommend this tea to those who tend to shy away from green teas because of the naturally inherent grassy or earthy tones. 8 Treasures Tea from Let’s Do Tea just might make a green tea lover out of you!

An attractive blend of eight green teas, with real fruit bits and pretty sunflower petals, this tea tastes good hot or iced.

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
