This tea is aptly named. Just take one whiff of this tea and you will smell mint and chamomile, two of the best pre-bed herbs out there. But in this blend they have also added mugwort (which opens your third eye and is said to produce vivid dreams), damiana leaves, gotu kola and rosemary leaves, rose petals and a tiny hint of stevia. You can taste much of the other flavors because the mint and chamomile is so strong, but mixed all together it produces a light, minty fresh cup before bed.

It’s fresh and minty tasting, with the mint and chamomile being the most powerful tastes in the tea, but the other herbs definitely tone down the mint taste and mix in well. Because of the chamomile I would recommend drinking this at night or when you want to wind down.

The flavor, like the aroma, is very minty, as you can imagine. The flavors have a very fresh and lively spirit to them that leaves the palate feeling very clean and revitalized.

When you first open the tin of this loose tea, you can tell it is high quality stuff. Large, full chamomile flowers, bright purple lavender flowers, dark read rose petals and passionflower herbs, and bright green spearmint leaves.

A beautiful tea with whole chrysanthemum flowers as well as vanilla. The base is a nice strong Assam – great flavored breakfast tea!

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
