This tea brews up a light amber color, and has a warm golden flavor. This tea has absolutely zero sharpness or bitterness (when brewed properly and according to instructions on the package). I drank this tea plain, but a bit of sweetener would be okay too. A lovely bouquet of rich brown curled leaves that brew up a delicious Oolong tea!

The scent of jasmine in the dried tea leaves is almost intoxicating as you open this package. Jasmine is an ingredient that is very fragrant and distinct ingredient in any tea. It compliments green or black tea amazingly and I have never been disappointed with any jasmine tea.

This tea is earth incarnate. The woodsy smell is so apparent from the first opening of the package. This is black tea with a kick. The three adjectives that popped into my mind at first taste; nutty, woody, earthy.

It’s a little fruity, a bit sweet, a little bitter – bit in a good way, and more than a little good! It’s very flavorful but not bold if that makes sense. It’s a true burgundy color and smells a little smoky.

If you’re looking for a lovely, soft, pleasant green to sip on anytime of day, I highly recommend giving this tea a try. One of the most mellow green teas I’ve ever had, it is a pleasure to drink. Also, if you enjoy drinking milk oolongs, you will most definitely enjoy this tea.
