It truly is red… and it would be interesting to use it as a coloring agent (says the artist in me), but when my stomach hurts, or I have a bit of sweet tooth or I need some hot comfort before bed, drinking a cup of Rooibos is perfect!

This makes a good cup of everyday afternoon tea. It’s got a medium amount of robustness, not too brisk.

The full-bodied tea is very bold in flavor, and the bergamot orange flavor offers a very pleasant, citrus-y tone to the overall cup.

This tea brews up a light amber color, and has a warm golden flavor. This tea has absolutely zero sharpness or bitterness (when brewed properly and according to instructions on the package). I drank this tea plain, but a bit of sweetener would be okay too. A lovely bouquet of rich brown curled leaves that brew up a delicious Oolong tea!

A very nice Oolong, with complex aromas and a smooth taste, and a good choice for repeated steeping of the same leaves.

This is an extremely mild, smooth tea, with no hint of bitterness or sharpness. A very mossy green tea flavor dominates this brew which has a slightly malty tone to it, but is the very epitome of a beautiful Oolong Tea.

The flavor is similar to a green tea – light in body, vegetative and a very fresh, lively taste. But the mouthfeel is not at all like a typical green tea – it has a very silky, smooth texture (imagine drinking velvet!) and a divine buttery aftertaste.

Many different tea company’s make Jasmine Pearl teas, but Narien Teas Jasmine Pearls are some of the most fragrant and high quality Jasmine Pearls I’ve found! Giving off clean, bright grassy green notes of fresh green tea behind the more feminine touch of the jasmine, which is delicate yet strong enough to leave an impression in your cup!

This tea is earth incarnate. The woodsy smell is so apparent from the first opening of the package. This is black tea with a kick. The three adjectives that popped into my mind at first taste; nutty, woody, earthy.

It’s a little fruity, a bit sweet, a little bitter – bit in a good way, and more than a little good! It’s very flavorful but not bold if that makes sense. It’s a true burgundy color and smells a little smoky.

If you’re looking for a lovely, soft, pleasant green to sip on anytime of day, I highly recommend giving this tea a try. One of the most mellow green teas I’ve ever had, it is a pleasure to drink. Also, if you enjoy drinking milk oolongs, you will most definitely enjoy this tea.

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
