This is the darkest Oolong I think I’ve ever encountered. The leaves are so deeply, intensely colored that they do, in fact, appear to be purple!

This is a very unique tasting tea – I can taste the sweet and tart flavor of the blueberry, the fresh, vegetative quality of the green tea, and the lovely floral note from the jasmine.

As I said, this is a tasty tea and it does have a charm all its own. I personally prefer an unfettered Earl Grey over this, but, sometimes, it’s nice to change things up a bit… and I’m certainly glad that I had the opportunity to try it.
