Another great herbal tisane by Stash Tea! This delightful & lovely smelling tisane is great to sip in the evening after dinner. If you don’t feel like dessert but still want something slightly sweet & tart, this is the perfect tea for you! When you pour the water over it, within seconds, there is a lovely aroma of blueberries with a hint of other berries. The taste is delicious; blueberry with a hint of raspberry, tart yet slightly sweet! This tisane would also make a great iced tea! To top it off, this tea is a very lovely shade of pink. The perfect tisane for any berry lover!

Some of the very best teas from around the world were hand selected for this truly exquisite blend. Each tea adds its distinctive flavor notes — Indian Assam imparts a malty flavor, the Formosa Oolong adds bright, fruity flavor notes, the China Keemun a hint of smokiness, our First Flush Darjeeling adds a flowery note, the Yunnan and Nilgiri add richness, and the Jasmine imparts a lingering, sweet fragrance.

You can taste the maltiness of the Assam and the smokiness of the Keemun along with the bright notes of the Ceylon tea. The Sumatra tea adds a depth of character and brings all the flavor notes together nicely. In other words, this blended bagged black tea is exquisitely classy and upscale for a bagged black tea. I have to say this is one of my favorites!! This is a tea I would keep in stock in my tea cabinet year round as it makes a perfect “anytime tea”.

This brew is actually quite smooth to drink however there is a hint of bitterness in the aftertaste, I think this is because of the hibiscus. The apple flavoring is especially delicious, and easily the highlight of this brew. A perfect blend of flavors indeed!

This tea has a lovely aroma that smells quite a bit like apple cider – a favorite autumn treat of mine – which is why this blend evokes a sense of autumn for me. The flavor is also quite similar to apple cider, although not quite as sweet.

As it steeps, I’m always somewhat surprised at how quickly the tea diffuses into the water. Within only a few minutes, I have a dark red steaming cuppa warm and aromatic yumness.
(That’s the official word.)
I always add a swirl of raw agave nectar and lots of half and half, because life is short and at the end of the day this is my version of the perfect indulgence.

This one is actually rather difficult to describe, even by a long-time tea reviewer like me. There’s nothing comparable, except perhaps that it is a little bit like it’s cousin Yerba Maté only greener, fresher, and more crisp. It’s a very unique flavor which isn’t unpleasant at all, it’s very bright and refreshing even when served hot.

This is a well-named tea because the smell reminds me of spiked eggnog! I actually know a lot of people who don’t drink eggnog because it gives them serious heartburn (because it is so creamy) so this would be a great alternative. (As well as a good alternative for those trying to cut out holiday calories.) And yes, I say spiked eggnog because one of the ingredients is rum flavoring!

Merry Mint is a very pleasant mild minted green tea. Merry Mint or Joyeuse Menthe for you Francophiles, is a very well-behaved mint and to top it off, it is organic. It has a very pleasant aroma that doesn’t shout at you. The dry leaves are quite small, yet I could distinguish between the thin needles of tea and the chunks of peppermint.

The mints blend together nicely and don’t taste too overpowering at all. In fact, I was really expecting it to taste overwhelmingly, terrifyingly minty, but it wasn’t at all. While the first ingredient is green tea, I will admit that I couldn’t taste it at all, but the lemongrass does give it a slight citrus-y flavor. The spearmint gives the tea a slight sweet flavor while the peppermint packs the minty punch. It was a very nice cup of tea to enjoy in the afternoon!

I feel rejuvenated after sipping this tea.

The flavor is so rewarding! It has a very rich, robust presence and a toothsome quality to it. The flavor doesn’t taste as chocolate-y as the fragrance would suggest but, it is still very flavorful. There is a citrus-like background to the fruit notes, with more of a sweet plum taste in the foreground.

The taste of chamomile was the strongest, followed by the taste of the mint. I couldn’t really taste the other ingredients but there was a slight citrusy taste as well as just the tiniest bit of tartness, which must have been the passionflower. It also had a nice slightly citrus scent and overall this was a great bedtime tea.

As you brew it the color goes from a light yellow champagne color that gets slightly more yellow/green as it steeps longer. The refreshing combination of white tea, crisp peppermint and spicy ginger makes just as exceptional of a summer iced tea as it does a winter hot tea.
