The flavor of the tea is predominantly a black with a nice fruity infusion. I have a difficult time pinpointing the most prominent fruit flavor. I almost sense a vanilla finish, but vanilla is not listed in the ingredients so it must just be the creaminess of the combined ingredients.

When brewed however, the strong and slightly astringent black tea flavor really comes out. In fact I find it to be one of the most pleasant and strong black teas I’ve tasted, that has the slightest sharp edge to it that perfectly compliments the pure orange flavor! The orange flavor is just as present as the black tea, and again, tastes extremely authentic, just like real fresh juicy oranges.

Aha, that’s what the green tea is – gunpowder – one of my personal favorites. For a green, it is fairly strong, which is why it can stand up to the peppermint so well, with a very refreshing taste.

When I opened the package of this tea, the large chunks of papaya caught my eye. The pineapple was not as visible, and I found that the same relationship played out in the flavor. Once brewed the papaya definitely dominated the cup.I like papaya, as it happens, and it was nice to have a tropical tea that tasted mainly of the mellow papaya.

When brewed, the flavor is light and refreshing, with a slight astringency that cleanses the palate in a good way every time you take a sip. There are light floral undertones with strong peach highlights and nuances of tropical mangoes. The liquor is a dark clear apricot color, and the aroma is very beautiful, smelling like ripe peaches.
Read This Review...liber-teas
Even though the description doesn’t mention the mango flavor, the fruit bits in this tea are mango, not peach. (It’s easier to source dried mango bits than it is to find dried peach bits.) And, while the fruit bits do not contribute a great deal of flavor to the cup, I can taste hints of the mango. Fortunately, though, the peach and mango are very harmonious in this cup.

The flavor of the tea is very SMOOTH! It doesn’t have a grassy green taste that I find in some teas. The orange flavor is a strong undertone, I use the oxymoron “strong undertone” because it is there, but it’s not screaming at you. The initial sip is definitely a nice green and the aftertaste is a sweet citrus.

The flavors of coconut and vanilla bean make this taste a bit like a coconut cream pie! The nice flakes of coconut visible in the loose leaf tea almost make me want to reach in and munch on them – yes, I’m one of those people who loves coconut flakes, whether on the top of a coconut cream pie with meringue topping, or on cupcake frosting, or even eating the sweetened flakes straight out of a bag from the baking aisle of the supermarket.

The berry flavor is well-pronounced. I taste notes of strawberry, raspberry and especially the blueberry. It is sweet with just the right amount of tartness to it – just enough to tingle on the tongue without making me pucker when I sip it.
