Even though the mint is the predominant flavor, when served iced you can detect a hint of lemon from the lemongrass. The licorice gives it a naturally sweet flavor, hence why sweetener is not really necessary.

I tasted this as part of the Tealightful Treasures sampler set called “All Things Warm and Spicy”, and this is certainly a theme well represented in this tea. ‘Warm and Spicy’ is exactly how I would describe this tea!
