The flavor of this tea is intense! I can detect a slight smoky note – it is not a strong smokiness, more like a smooth, smoky essence that lingers throughout the layers of flavor. The fruity taste of this tea is like that of a peach and plum.

Red Rosebuds Tea from TeaSpringI received a sample of Red Rosebuds Tea from TeaSpring from a tea swappin’ buddy and just HAD to try it. It’s very interesting looking to say the least and colorful indeed.
“I am about to drink rosebuds!”, I thought to myself as I was infusing the blend!
The color is that of an oolong type tea. It has a slight rose scent. The taste is light and delicate.
I assumed it would be WAY OVER THE TOP rose-tasting since it’s all about the rosebuds in this blend – but it’s actually quite nice. It’s fairly mellow. Rosy, yes, but not obnoxious by any means. This was truly interesting and enjoyable and I am glad I tried it.

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
