Indeed, this is the quintessential spring tea. The balance of white and green teas with the floral notes and soft cherry undertones make this such a lovely, delightful cherry blossom tea.

If you equate cherry with medicine or syrup or candy – erase that from your mind. Think of a quiet Japanese garden, with the cherry trees in blossom. This is the taste and feeling of this tea!

It really is close enough to hot cocoa that you could even add miniature marshmallows for an extra treat if you wanted. Although I really enjoyed serving this one piping hot with a nice big squirt of whipped cream and sprinkles of chocolate on top.

Chun Mee has a slightly bitter, strongly astringent flavor that is great for clearing the palate. A fantastic everyday green tea, Chun Mee brews up into a pale yellowish tea, that holds on to a sweet scent and tart flavor.

I was graced with a beautifully floral aroma and grassy green tea. Jasmine was the star of the show in the forefront of the nose, NOT the rose. In fact, the rose is a very subtle background note, enhancing the grassy freshness of the high quality green tea.

The orange and tangerine are light citrus background notes, and do not leave any sharpness or sourness to the blend in any way. The peach is very light and sweet, I liked drinking this tea with a tiny amount of sugar which brought out that peach flavor. A delicious tea to wake up to on a warm spring morning like today!

One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
