Ambrosia White Tea from Zhi Tea

The pineapple is a good inclusion in this tea and gives a piña colada flavor to the overall blend. In fact, this is the perfect piña colada tea! Gorgeous to look at as well as sip!

I really enjoyed this tea – and will again! But I would caution that anyone who does not care for a coconut taste should be aware. Tropical… yes! Healthy.. yes! Unique… YES! Another great tea from Zhi Tea!

The first smell of this tea and you be in love. An aromatic mixture of fruit and floral wafts out and up to your nostrils sending pleasurable scents to your brain.

I really enjoyed this tea. It makes a delicious and soothing hot tea, but I suspect it is an even better iced tea! I’ll have to remember to get more of this tea when the warmer months approach!

A very well-rounded chai tea with a special chocolate touch that makes it delicious especially in the evening, or when it’s cold outside.

If you read my reviews, you know I love ginger. This fantastic Oolong combines a touch of ginger flavor, with a touch of peach and it makes for the perfect pick-me-up tea!

The tea leaves are whole, and absolutely beautiful to watch as they unfurl in to large, full tea leaves. The high quality Sechong Oolong has the perfect malty, deep complexity to perfectly compliment the flavors of peach and ginger.

There is also a sweet note in the background that resembles caramel – a toasty caramel. This tea is perfect for that person with a sweet tooth who is looking to curb their calorie intake – because this tea really delivers the “sweets” without the fat or calories!

Let’s face it – cinnamon, chocolate and coconut HAS to be a winning combination here. I drank this with lots of organic sugar in it, and loved it like that.

It is a deep, robust, chocolate flavor that is complimented by the other sweet ingredients. Imagine, if you will, a piece of black licorice that’s been coated in dark chocolate, sprinkled with cinnamon, and rolled in chopped nuts and flakes of toasted coconut.

Not only a great tea to have as an after dinner treat, this tea could be enjoyed anytime of day! If you’re craving something sweet, it is the perfect treat (without all the guilt!). It also has a slight tropical feel with the scent & taste of coconut. For those who do not like an Rooibos that is overpowering and too sweet, this tea is highly recommended. An absolute delight to drink and the perfect tea to just sip slowly & enjoy!

I have now tasted enough green teas that I can tell some difference in taste and quality and I can tell you that Zhi Tea’s claim that this is a high quality green tea is proven in the taste.

The Sencha tea is the most prominent flavor profile in this cup. It is very bright and light-bodied, without even a hint of bitterness.

Although it is very light-tasting, it seems to be just the right tea to use with the pear flavoring of this tea, which is also quite mild. Together they create a very tranquil tea that seems to encourage a peaceful mind and spirit.

The overall flavor of this tea is not quite as floral as you might imagine. The sweet rose essence is there, but, it is the white tea (organic Oothu) that really shines, offering a very pleasing harmony of silky flavor.

Cozy and toasty are words that I would use to describe the flavor of this amazingly complex tea as well. It has a very comforting flavor to it: slightly smoky but more of a “roasty-toasty” taste than smoke.

The flavor is also quite vegetative, but, strangely, it is an agreeable vegetative essence. Perhaps it is the sweetness that accompanies the fresh, grassy notes. The flavor is very bright, and offers hints of fruit and floral tones creating a nice complexity for the palate

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
