This tea has a nice citrus scent that isn’t too strong, and it brews up a light orange color. I added a little sweetener to bring out the tangerine taste. The citrus taste isn’t too strong or too tart but rather it has a nice subtle flavor.

The white tea is crisp and light, with a hint of earthiness and a slight vegetative quality. It is a delicate taste, but it is not overwhelmed by the flavor of the tangerine. The tangerine is a bright, sunny citrus taste.

The smell of the tea is very fruity and you can see whole blueberries sprinkled throughout. The white tea varies in color for a rich green to a very light green.

This is one of the best blueberry tea blends that I’ve tasted! The flavor is that of a berry – bursting with sweetness and very little tartness. Just the way I like it!

The white tea base is very light and refreshing. It is delicate enough so that I can enjoy the tastes of the wild blueberry and spices, but I can still taste it. The package recommends using boiling water, but because it’s been my experience that boiling water can damage the delicate white tea leaves, I used hot water – but not boiling.

The tea is beautifully fragrant, both as a dry leaf and a steeped liquor. In fact, one thing I noted is how lovely the smell was that was emanating from my teacup as I sat down to write this review. It smells – not surprisingly – like roses.

The thing I find so amazing about this light-bodied tea is that while it is very delicate in taste, it is so interestingly complex. Even though the overall flavor is like a soft cloud that drifts past my palate, barely touching it, I can taste whispers of each of these delightful flavors.

The tea is mild and low in caffeine; the bergamot is nicely balanced. This tea brews up fairly dark for a white tea, a medium amber color darker than most green teas. The aroma is quite nice, stronger in the brewed tea than in the dry leaves.

The taste is sweet and citrusy with a very subtle white tea flavor. I never knew what a Youthberry was before this blend, but I truly enjoy them!

I find the white tea such an undertone that it is more like an herbal to me. As I sit here and struggle for the words to describe the perfection that is this tea, I have opened the tea and sniffed it 4 times! I can smell the pineapple and some mango. The flavor of the tea is just a mix of the ingredients, it is so flavorful that it is almost like a juice.

The long slivers of white tea are so beautiful and make this tea so good – and with the purported health benefits of this tea’s ingredients, this tea is an overall winner!

"I am a tea drinker and this cocoa shell tea has been a bit of a revelation for me. I was looking for an alternative, change of pace source of caffeine for my weekends and this fits the bill. One tablespoon brewed for 10 minutes provides a subtle chocolate taste with about the same level of caffeine as green tea, which is perfect for me. I am trying to..."
