Pumpkin Spice Decaf from Stash Tea

Stash Pumpkin Spice Decaf TeaThis is a nice blend of herbs and spices that makes for a very tasty cup of tea. In fact, it almost tastes like a pumpkin flavored {en:chai}. This tea and {en:chai} do share many of the same ingredients.

The tea has a nice warm clove scent that you just want to inhale because of how cozy it smells. The pumpkin is a nice flavor that isn’t too overwhelming or fake tasting. I did add rice milk, and even though rice milk is a lot thinner than regular milk, it added a nice creamy full flavor. What I liked was the tea was sweet enough by itself not to add any additional sugar.

Stash describes this tea as:

This festive holiday tea imparts the appeal of a tasty pumpkin pie. A delicious blend of naturally decaffeinated Black Teas and natural pumpkin spice flavor combines with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and clove. Add a touch of milk and sugar to complement the luscious flavor.

The flavor of this tea was like a piece of pumpkin pie that your aunt makes every year for Thanksgiving. There are a lot of spices in this tea, but they are a familiar mix. I thought the cinnamon was the strongest spice of them all, but it wasn’t to sharp or spicy. This was a cozy afternoon tea perfect for a crisp fall day, or to cheer you up on a gloomy, rainy cold summer day.
